Ways & Means Coordinator
As revised July 2015:
The Ways and Means coordinator, along with her designees, is responsible for all fundraising and money making events sponsored by the chorus. She shall be a member of the management team and, with advise from the team, may appoint members to help her fulfill all her responsibilities. She shall keep records of all events occuring in her tenure, along with maintaining procedure manuals for each major fundraising event for use in planning future events. She will also coordinate with the publicity chair to advertise fundraising events. Her chairmanship shall include, but not be limited to: Friends & Family chair, Whiskey Flat Pastrami booth chair, Anniversary Ice Cream Social & Auction chair, product sales chair, raffle & 50/50 chair, Siretta Street Yard Sale chair, Karaoke Nite chair. She shall provide for decorations or refreshments as needed for fundraising events.
Specific duties of the Ways & Means Coordinator:
1. Hold meetings as necessary with her committee members to plan the yearly fundraising events, reporting back to the management team of decisions.
2. Keep all forms, paperwork, flyers, reports in a binder for future planning.
3. Fill out an "Event Report Form" and keep a copy for Ways & Means records.
4. Coordinate with the Financial Coordinator to create a budget for Ways & Means, establishing a budget for each event planned.
5. Arrange for decorations or refreshments as needed at fundraising events.
